Biloxi, MS, USA - It's Not Just New Orleans

Wednesday, September 21, 2005

We had a day of "R&R" and Michael and I and a volunteer named Tammy spent it outprocessing and then taking a drive around Biloxi. The destruction there was unlike anything I have ever seen. I won't even attempt to write about it, I'll just post some of Michael's photos. Keep in mind that these are not isolated houses. Michael did not strategically shoot to crop out houses still standing. This was the view for block after block after block. Even those houses that did not get blown away were flooded to the roofline. Biloxi is simply destroyed.
